Cool Cap Engineer

Engineering by an anime nerd

About

Hello everyone! Welcome to Cool Cap Engineer! My name is David, but on this site my alias is daitomodachi. Currently, I am an a junior project engineer at Ametek Rotron. I completed my electrical engineering degree with a concentration in electronics engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Spring 2013. Although I lived here in Philadelphia, PA for almost all of my life, I was originally born in Queens, New York and currently living in Kingston, NY.

As you can tell from the slogan, I really enjoy anime. I was that kid who would run back home to watch the newest episode of Dragonball Z on Toonami. I started to watch the really amazing animes in my junior year of high school. My current favorite anime includes Code Geass, Tegan Toppa Gurran Lagann, Steins Gate, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.  In fact, if you want to learn more about what type of anime I watch, check out My Anime List profile.

So what can you expect from Cool Cap Engineer? Although the site looks like an anime blog, this is actually an electronics blog. Here I will post tutorials on using Atmega  microcontrollers, PIC microcontrollers, Arduinos, and some electronics engineering concepts. I will also post worklogs  on current projects I’m working on. Since I’m a full time electrical engineer, I will do my best to post new articles on this site. Depending on my schedule, I will post at least article per week.
